FULL-TIME Registered Nurse in Medical Unit Night Shift 7P/7A

Purpose

Utilizing the nursing process, the Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering patient care to patients of all ages on the unit during the shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Care, managing assigned personnel, and promoting collaboration among the disciplines.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
• Able to work all shifts.
• Certified in CPR.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Possesses positive customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds approximately 5% of the day.
• Sitting approximately 15% of the day.
• Standing and walking approximately 60% of the day.
• Pushing and pulling approximately 10% of the day.
• Twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 5% of the day.
• Reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 5% of the day.
