Full-Time Registered Nurse

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care, promoting healing through autonomous practice in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough, ongoing holistic assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates patient progress.
• Coordinates care with patients and team members, initiates referrals, and updates care plans regularly.
• Delivers evidence-based, personalized teaching to patients and support systems throughout care.
• Demonstrates respectful, effective communication, advocates for patients, and fosters team collaboration.
• Performs treatments and procedures per policies, collaborating with physicians and team members.
• Maintains accurate, timely records and manages medication processes, including patient teaching and response monitoring.
• Participates in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety culture.
• Delegates tasks appropriately, supervises staff, and mentors colleagues.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Ability to perform treatments, document effectively, and collaborate within the healthcare team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred experience in Med/Surg or critical care.
• Sound clinical skills and knowledge of nursing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
