Full-Time Psychiatrist

About the role

Seeking full-time, board-eligible psychiatrists to join a Mental Health Service Line team. Provide patient-centered care within an integrated team, utilizing a national Electronic Health Record system.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver psychopharmacological and behavioral health services, including telehealth.
• Obtain a buprenorphine prescribing waiver within three months of hire.
• Serve as Lead Psychiatrist overseeing psychiatric prescribing practices and participating in Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) and Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP).
• Provide care to outpatient and residential Veterans with a focus on chronic mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness.
• Work in a supportive environment that emphasizes evidence-based medicine and balanced work hours.

Qualifications
