About the role

The RMHRC is an inpatient facility offering a comprehensive range of behavioral health treatment programs. Riverside Medical Group is seeking full-time physicians—board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry—to join their innovative Psychiatric Emergency Department (PED).

Responsibilities

• Provide acute services for short-term psychiatric and medical care to adolescents and adults in crisis requiring emergency intervention.
• Collaborate with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team to stabilize patients and transition them to appropriate levels of care.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Leverage Epic for seamless care coordination across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling options: Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available.
• Full-time schedule: Block shifts—three 12-hour shifts per week.
