St. Luke’s Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Pharmacist to join our outpatient pharmacy. This role delivers high-quality pharmaceutical care across multiple outpatient service areas, including medication lockers and traditional outpatient pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will be clinically focused, collaborative, and motivated to support innovative outpatient pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed medication therapies
  • Interpret prescriptions and accurately compound and dispense medications
  • Provide medication information, counseling, and consultation to patients, nurses, and medical staff
  • Perform cognitive clinical pharmacy services and document interventions according to medical center standards
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as appropriate
  • Supervise, direct, and authorize the work of pharmacy technicians, interns, externs, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records related to medication therapy, prescriptions, patient charges, inventory, and medical records
  • Support Meds-to-Beds and Transitions of Care services to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Assist with training and education of technicians, interns, externs, residents, and other pharmacy staff
  • Serve as a role model and mentor to students, technicians, residents, and new practitioners

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited School or College of Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent)
  • Valid Pharmacist License in the state of practice (Idaho or eligible for licensure)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ASHI, AHA, or American Red Cross)
  • 0 years of experience required
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred
