Full Time - Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Camden, NJ

About the role

This position will be a mix of night and day shifts and is ideal for an experienced APP who is comfortable managing complex neurologically critically ill patients and thriving in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing neurologic and medical assessment
• Interpretation of diagnostic studies and neuroimaging
• Development and implementation of treatment plans
• Responding to acute neurologic and clinical changes in patient status
• Maintaining continuity of care
• Addressing emergent neurologic and medical issues
• Safeguarding safe patient management throughout the overnight hours

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in neurocritical care or intensive care unit setting
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field (for Nurse Practitioner)
• Advanced Practice Provider certification (NP or PA)

Pay

The starting salary for this position is: $163,350.00 (annually).
