About the Role
Amtran is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team of professionals. The role involves ensuring all Amtran vehicles are in working order and comply with state/federal regulations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Amtran vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles are in compliance with state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Experience with buses and/or medium and heavy-duty vehicles is a plus
- CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, PA State Inspection License, and/or 608 and 609 A/C Certifications are preferred but not required at the time of hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good driving record
Pay
Starting wage is $30.10/hour, with added incentives based on certifications. Increase to $33.44/hour after one year of employment.
