Maintenance Mechanic, Full Time

Core Job Functions

• Greases, lubricates, and replaces filters in air and hydraulic systems.
• Performs inspections and repairs of equipment, and completes scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnostics problems and makes adjustments or reports situation to proper managing staff.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders.
• Orders necessary parts and equipment from vendors and suppliers.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license.
• Certification and Licensing: Refer To The Department Description For Applicable Certification Requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 3 Years Of Relevant Experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Commitment to the University’s core values. Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment. Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
