Full Time - Leasing - Leasing Agent - Bridgeport Apartments

Come join the Omega Management Group Team for this exciting opportunity as a Leasing Agent. Your role will focus on leasing apartments while maintaining a strong customer service and satisfaction philosophy. You will work with and assist the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property, performing related leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Assist the Residential Manager with property administration, including leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping tasks
• Interact courteously and professionally with residents, potential residents, visitors, and the public
• Handle lease documents, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate records
• Compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and perform basic math computations
• Operate office equipment such as fax/copy machines, telephones, calculators, and computers
• Resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems effectively
• Perform any reasonable task or request consistent with company objectives
• Adhere to all Omega Management Group policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to apply logical thinking to practical situations and follow standardized procedures, occasionally deviating when necessary
• Capability to work at a fast pace, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Legible handwriting and accurate typing skills
• Proficiency in working with figures and making bank deposits
• Computer literacy or willingness to be trained
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid state driver’s license and valid auto liability insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Access to a phone for communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Prior apartment leasing and/or sales experience preferred
