Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview Seeking a versatile team member to perform as a Cashier and/or Stocker, acting in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating cash registers, and ensuring a clean, organized, and secure store environment. The role involves providing superior customer service, adhering to company policies, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Key Duties Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays.Assist customers and locate merchandise; operate cash registers and handle transactions.Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and security measures.In the absence of managers, authorize refunds, monitor cash levels, and oversee security protocols. Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.Knowledge of cash handling, security policies, and safety practices.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidelines. Experience & Conditions High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 55 pounds, climb ladders, and work in a fast-paced environment.Occasional exposure to outside weather and travel for store-related tasks.
