Full-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This role involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks and stocking merchandise, including implementing plan-o-grams
• Providing excellent customer service, assisting with merchandise location, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Operating cash registers, handling transactions, and managing cash procedures
• Maintaining store organization, safety, and security standards
• In the absence of management, authorizing refunds, overseeing cash accountability, and monitoring store activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred

Skills

• Strong math, cash handling, and communication skills
• Ability to follow safety policies and plan-o-gram guidelines

Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds)
• Use of equipment such as scanners, box cutters, and carts
• Fast-paced environment with occasional outside weather exposure and driving responsibilities
