About the role
The Field Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across multiple manufacturing facilities. They work closely with plant leaders, supervisors, and employees to conduct safety assessments, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions. The position is primarily onsite in Brenham, TX, with travel to Austin.
Responsibilities
- Developing safety programs
- Leading incident investigations
- Delivering safety training
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Monitoring safety metrics
Requirements
The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in occupational health, safety, or related fields, along with significant safety experience in industrial settings.
Qualifications
- Experience in metals manufacturing
- Multi-site safety leadership
- Certifications such as CSP or CHST
Skills
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and technical safety areas such as lockout/tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety, and industrial hygiene.
