Full-Time Guitar Technician

About the Role

The Repair Tech (Guitar) maintains and repairs customer-owned instruments, primarily guitars, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. They assist in store inventory maintenance, perform warranty repairs, and contribute to business growth through excellent service while fostering a welcoming environment and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide exceptional service
• Service and repair guitars and other instruments
• Maintain store-owned gear as needed
• Complete warranty repair work
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Skilled understanding of guitar repair techniques
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and resolve issues independently
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques through certification programs
• Effective trainer and communicator for knowledge sharing

Foundational knowledge of Guitar Center products is preferred.
