Full-Time Automotive Technician

About the role

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing complex vehicle repairs to ensure customer satisfaction. They lead qualified technicians, ensure repairs meet standards, and communicate technical issues clearly to customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles based on certifications and experience.
• Perform repairs outlined on inspection and repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle complex, heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Recommend necessary services and document all recommendations.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and core values.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience or ASE certifications.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in variable temperature environments with protective gear as needed.
• Work involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials.
• Must have good vision and communication skills.

Pay

Up to $45 flag rate, with competitive pay.
