Full-Time Automotive Technician

About the role

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Automotive Technician, responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles with precision and efficiency. You will perform advanced diagnostics, heavy-duty repairs, and ensure all work aligns with MAP, dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. Your technical expertise will be essential in explaining repairs to customers and recommending necessary services. The role requires adhering to safety procedures, documenting all work accurately, and working flexibly, including weekends, while never working on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and heavy-duty repairs
• Ensure all work aligns with MAP, dealership, manufacturer, and company standards
• Explain repairs to customers and recommend necessary services
• Adhere to safety procedures and document work accurately

Skills

• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License if required
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience or ASE certifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)
• Perform multi-point inspections and repairs with accuracy
• Explain technical issues to non‑mechanical personnel and customers
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards
• Work in varied environmental conditions
• Meet physical demands (lift up to 70 lb, stand for long periods)

Pay

$30‑$45 per hour

Schedule

Closed Sundays; flexible weekend work required; no Sunday work.
