Full Time Guest Service Representative Weekends Required

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
• Escorts VIPs to their rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
• Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and answers questions accordingly or transfers as needed.
• Responsible for issuing the bank. Counts the bank at the beginning and end of each shift and ensures all cash drops are done according to proper cash handling procedures. Reports all cash overages or shortages to management.
• Keeps the front desk area clean and organized.
• Assists with lobby activation as needed.
• Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
• Follows a checklist when going through check-in or check-out with guests.
• Always retrieves necessary identification documents and forms of payment upon arrival.
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Performs various other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• Minimum of High School education.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Excellent time management skills.
