About the role
Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
- Coach and develop the team's selling behaviors.
- Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, collaborating with the Store Manager.
- Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Review and manage sales and production workload, building plans and sales floor time for networking.
- Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Interview, onboard, coach, observe, and train new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management activities of your team; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
- Partner with MOD’s daily on framing and other tasks.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; maintain a positive and respectful attitude, even in challenging situations; promote the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for others.
- Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and within budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to maintain a safe environment.
- Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Assist with Omni-channel processes.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous custom framing experience preferred.
- Retail management experience preferred.
- Experience leading a sales team.
Qualifications
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
