Full-Time Family Self-Sufficiency Case Aide

About the role

This is a full-time contract position housed at Washington County DHR in Chatom, AL. The Family Self-Sufficiency Case Aide will provide support services under the direction of Department Staff to TANF recipients with the goal of helping them achieve self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to professional case management staff
• Augment the efforts of JOBS and/or Public Assistance (PA) staff
• Assist eligible individuals to overcome barriers to employment
• Increase marketable skills and employability
• Help individuals gain or retain employment
• Support transition from welfare to work

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 21 or older
• Reliable automobile with liability insurance
• Valid Alabama driver's license
• Criminal Background Check
• Child Abuse Registry Clearance

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

40 hours per week with paid holidays

Benefits

• Mileage reimbursement at $0.67 per mile
