Full-Time EMT Basic
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, allied health professionals, and public safety personnel.
- Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT License.
- State Driver’s License.
- BLS, NREMT certification.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in healthcare.
Pay
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour.
