About the role
The EMT’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: responding to calls, and providing care to patients in transit to medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Responding to calls and providing care to patients in transit to medical facilities.
- Deliver outstanding patient care with a calm, professional approach.
- Provide top-notch customer service to patients, partners, and teammates.
- Drive and operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Thrive under pressure - both independently and as part of a team.
- Keep accurate records and protect patient privacy (HIPAA compliant).
- Show up on time, stay professional, and take pride in clean vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A state EMT License.
- A state Driver’s License.
- BLS certification.
- NREMT certification.
- A driving record in compliance with company policy.
- Pass a physical agility test.
Qualifications
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
