Full-Time Emergency Room Nurse (Night Shift)
About the role
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic patient care and education to support recovery and self-management.
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Create and document personalized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
- Assess patient needs comprehensively, including emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
- Work safely and maintain alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care aligned with standards.
- Ensure patient safety and foster a healing environment.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, licensure as an RN. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. Strong assessment skills, teamwork, communication, and patient education abilities.
