About the role
Shannondale of Knoxville is an Assisted Living community nestled in a serene, wooded area of West Knoxville, offering a peaceful environment for both residents and staff. Located near the scenic Tennessee River and just a short drive from the vibrant shopping and dining options of Turkey Creek, the facility combines natural beauty with urban convenience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the therapy team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to residents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Evaluate and document progress towards treatment goals
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in rehabilitation therapy
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
