About the role

Westwood Ridge and other facilities in Minneapolis/Saint Paul, MN area, invites you to lead our therapy team. As a Director of Rehab, you will collaborate with a compassionate and experienced team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors we serve every day. This position is based at Westwood Ridge but also includes travel to multiple Vivie senior living communities throughout the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area to support resident care across our network.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and documentation.
  • Train and supervise therapy staff to ensure quality care and compliance with standards.
  • Participate in community events and wellness programs to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
  • Stay updated on best practices in rehabilitation and therapy, and incorporate these into daily operations.
  • Ensure all services provided meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice in Minnesota.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care facility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health records systems.
