Full-time Director of Rehabilitation

About the role

The Village at Rockville is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead our therapy team. Located in Rockville, MD, this position offers the opportunity to work across all levels of care, from independent living to skilled nursing, and to build long-lasting relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the therapy department
• Develop and implement person-centered care plans for residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide clinical supervision to therapy staff
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of therapy outcomes
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in rehabilitation therapy

Requirements

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
• Current license to practice in the state of Maryland
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience working with individuals with various disabilities and medical conditions
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend availability as needed
