FULL TIME Custom Framing Manager/ Lead Designer

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Coach and develop the team to sell effectively.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, collaborating with the Store Manager.
  • Achieve and manage team KPI’s and ensure framing team goals are met.
  • Manage sales and production workload, building plans and sales floor time for networking.
  • Execute inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Interview, onboard, coach, observe, and train new team members; support talent development activities; participate in performance management activities; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
  • Collaborate with MOD’s daily on framing and other tasks.
  • Interact positively with colleagues, maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure compliance and budget adherence.
  • Follow SOPs and company programs, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Pay

$20.50 - $24.50 per hour

Schedule

Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.
