About the role
Immanuel Communities is seeking an experienced Full-time Day Cook to work at Lakeside, located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130. Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years. It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living, and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts.
Schedule
- 11:00am–7:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays
- 6:00am–2:30pm Sundays
- Days off: Thursday and Friday
- Holidays required
Pay
Up to $19.68/hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Responsibilities
- All types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top, and oven cooking
- Cleaning the kitchen
- Assisting in any duty as needed in the kitchen area
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual required
- Minimum age of 18 years old required
