Full Time Cook

Responsibilities

• Affirms all dietary procedures.
• Safely and effectively operates all kitchen equipment, including a meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, and warmer cabinets.
• Establishes food production line to ensure timely meal preparation.
• Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride during interactions with potential residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals with high-quality presentation and flavorful dishes for residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• This is primarily a standing position, may require standing for extended periods.
