Full-time Clinical Optometrist & Faculty Position
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with TPA+ licensure (glaucoma and anti-infectives) in Massachusetts
- Advanced professional credentials such as residency training or equivalent clinical experience
- Appropriate credentials for a faculty appointment
- An active commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching
- Preference for those with 3-5 years of experience in teaching and clinical care
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality didactic instruction in ocular disease and posterior segment conditions
- Lead student labs and workshops, fostering critical thinking and clinical reasoning
- Prepare students for patient care and participate in the clinical network
- Contribute to the scholarly advancement of the field and serve on college committees
- Deliver patient care at one of our clinic sites
Pay
Salary commensurate with experience

Full-time, Assistant or Associate Professor position with the option for tenure or non-tenure track

The Clinical Network is the patient care and clinical education subsidiary of the College and encompasses, in addition to two owned and operated clinics, a wide network of local, national and international sites throughout which our students do their clinical training. As one of the largest providers of optometric services in Massachusetts, our faculty and students provide optometric services to nearly 90,000 patients annually in more than 43 locations, including many of greater Boston’s community health centers.
