Optometrist - Full-time

About the role

Eyecarecenter is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the Wilson, NC office. The Wilson office offers flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, without weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
• Participate in a doctor-led leadership team involved in all medical issues and the oversight of the Medical Executive Board.

• Utilize a custom and proprietary Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for efficient and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program.
• A valid North Carolina State License.
• Current certification in state-mandated exams.
• Experience in clinical practice preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of ocular disease management.
• Experience with various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
