Optometrist - Full-time

About the role

Eyecarecenter is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the Boone, NC office. The practice prioritizes work/life balance with flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and development of patient's eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
• Participate in a doctor-led leadership team involved in all medical issues and the oversight of the Medical Executive Board.
• Utilize investments in new equipment and infrastructure to apply expertise and retain clinical autonomy.
• Access to a national medical network of practices for a wealth of expertise, resources, and knowledge.
• Work with a world-class support team dedicated to providing efficient, patient-centered care.
• Establish an immediate, sustained referral base within an established network.
• Benefit from a custom and proprietary Electronic Health Record (EHR) system designed by doctors and equipped with the latest technology and medical testing for patients.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an ABO accredited school.
• Current North Carolina State License.
• Must be board certified or eligible.
• Experience in primary care optometry preferred.
