About the role
Provides direct patient care in a 90-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care.
- Educates patients and families on post-treatment management.
- Participates in safety and quality initiatives.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans.
- Evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
- Ensures clear communication across care teams.
- Adheres to standards of nursing care.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
