Full-Time Clinical Faculty - (MSN Required)
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the lab and/or clinical setting
- Promote a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the clinical component of the curriculum
- Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees
- Plan the student clinical experience
- Orient students to the clinical site as well as to policies and procedures
- Supervise the student clinical experience in accordance with OAC 4723-5-20
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- At least three years full-time in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent
- Active RN licensure in the State of OH that has never been encumbered
- Certified in Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS)
General Credentialing Requirements
Applicants selected and receiving an offer of employment will be required to complete key credentialing requirements for clinical placements before being cleared for start. Full detailed information is provided at time of offer.
