Full-Time Clinical Faculty - (BSN Required)

About the role

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a BSN-prepared Nurse for a full-time Clinical Faculty role at our Columbus Campus. This role is flexible off-site, typically consisting of 40 hours per week (no Sundays or holidays).

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate with faculty to ensure comprehensive clinical instruction.
• Create engaging student experiences by planning and supervising clinical placements.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Two or more years full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse (or part-time equivalent).
• Active Ohio RN license with no encumbrances.
• Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Credentialing Requirements

• Provide official transcripts for all degrees earned.
• Provide a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS CPR card.
• Complete a physical form from within the last 12 months.
• Have immunization documentation for:
• Hepatitis B
• Meningococcal Meningitis
• Rabies Vaccine
• Tetanus
• Tuberculosis (2-step)
• Varicella
• Flu (for October 1 - April 1 hires)
