Full-Time Clinical Faculty - (BSN Required)
About the role
Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a BSN-prepared Nurse for a full-time Clinical Faculty role at our Columbus Campus. This role is flexible off-site, typically consisting of 40 hours per week (no Sundays or holidays).
Responsibilities
- Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
- Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate with faculty to ensure comprehensive clinical instruction.
- Create engaging student experiences by planning and supervising clinical placements.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Two or more years full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse (or part-time equivalent).
- Active Ohio RN license with no encumbrances.
- Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
General Credentialing Requirements
- Provide official transcripts for all degrees earned.
- Provide a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS CPR card.
- Complete a physical form from within the last 12 months.
- Have immunization documentation for:
- Hepatitis B
- Meningococcal Meningitis
- Rabies Vaccine
- Tetanus
- Tuberculosis (2-step)
- Varicella
- Flu (for October 1 - April 1 hires)
