Full Time Cake Decorator

Job Overview

Cub Rochester East is seeking a full-time Cake Decorator to provide high-quality bakery products, ensure customer satisfaction, and enhance the shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products
• Stock, rotate, and display bakery products
• Avoid stock shortages and maintain adequate supplies
• Perform cleaning duties
• Assist with department merchandising
• Answer customer inquiries and requests

Job Requirements

• Operate bakery equipment (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
• Walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Make decisions independently when direct supervision is unavailable
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information and request supplies
• Work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Walk on uneven ground
• Reach, bend, turn, perform repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule

Varying shifts during the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Open availability required for full-time consideration.

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
