Full Time Cake Decorator
Job Overview
Cub Rochester East is seeking a full-time Cake Decorator to provide high-quality bakery products, ensure customer satisfaction, and enhance the shopping experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare bakery products
- Stock, rotate, and display bakery products
- Avoid stock shortages and maintain adequate supplies
- Perform cleaning duties
- Assist with department merchandising
- Answer customer inquiries and requests
Job Requirements
- Operate bakery equipment (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
- Walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Make decisions independently when direct supervision is unavailable
- Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Write identifying information and request supplies
- Work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Walk on uneven ground
- Reach, bend, turn, perform repetitive motions
- Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule
Varying shifts during the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Open availability required for full-time consideration.
Compensation
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
