Full Time Cake Decorator

Job Overview

Cub St. Louis Park – West End is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Full‑Time Cake Decorator position. Cake Decorators provide quality bakery products that meet customer needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products
• Stock, rotate, and face bakery product
• Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
• Perform clean‑up of the department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, and bakery rack
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service
• Good judgment; ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lb
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lb
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule

Open availability is required; shifts may vary in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the referenced pay rate or within the referenced pay range for this position. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, and collective bargaining agreements.
