Full Time Cake Decorator

Job Overview

Cub Rochester East is seeking a full-time Cake Decorator to join their team!

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products
• Stock, rotate, and face bakery products
• Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
• Perform cleaning duties
• Aid in department merchandising
• Assist with customer questions or requests

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements
