Full-Time - Building Supervisor and Ice Maintenance Operator (Zamboni Driver) - Lafayette

About the role

The Building/Facility Supervisor acts as a Manager on Duty during hours and operation of facilities and supervises the daily facility operations on the property at the YMCA of Northern Colorado. Under the general direction of the Facility Superintendent, this role includes responding to emergencies, supervising staff, and maintaining facility cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Walks through facility hourly for cleanliness and safety, focusing on risk management.
• Responds to emergencies to ensure member safety.
• Maintains and operates ice resurfacer, ice depth checks, and pool safety and maintenance.
• Serves as liaison between contractors and the YMCA.
• Supervises community service volunteers and ensures exceptional customer service.
• Performs general maintenance and preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Assists other departments and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate with additional relevant trainings or certifications.
• Current/valid driver’s license and MVR to meet YMCA driver qualifications.
• Skills to perform basic facility maintenance, ice operations, and pool maintenance.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong communication and human relations skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Heavy physical labor including lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of facility operations and safety protocols.

$20.00 - $20.00 per hour.
