Role Overview An Automotive Technician/Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently, adhering to dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. They perform multi-point inspections, accurately complete repair orders, and explain technical issues to customers and team members. Key Responsibilities Diagnose vehicles based on certification and experience levels.Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined in inspection and repair orders.Communicate necessary repairs and maintenance to non-mechanical personnel and customers.Recommend and document services to ensure vehicle longevity.Follow safety procedures and report hazards.Maintain ASE certifications and renewals. Qualifications & Skills At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.Preferably possess at least one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience.Ability to work flexible days, including Saturday. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks required for vehicle repair in varying temperatures.
