Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-level applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Build high-performance, responsive, and intuitive GUIs with Angular.
• Work with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, UDB/DB2), including data modeling, complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement microservices, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Modernize and rewrite legacy applications into modernized distributed platforms.
• Apply Java full-stack application architecture, RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integration patterns.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise-level application development experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular for high-performance, responsive, and intuitive GUI development.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, UDB/DB2), including relational data modeling, complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with microservices, Kafka, and REST API development.
• Good understanding of Java full-stack application architecture, RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integration patterns.
• Experience modernizing or rewriting legacy applications to modernized distributed platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted spec-driven development tools (e.g., code generation, testing, documentation).
• Domain experience in alternatives/private markets, banking, financial, or wealth management.
• Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in New York is $61,087 to $104,364. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on position and applicable laws.
