Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician - Part-time, Weekends Only

We are a closed door, mail-order pharmacy in Imperial, Pennsylvania. We compound high quality non-sterile topical creams and ship them directly to patients in their homes. Why you'll love this job: Day time hours, NO nights!Free Curology/Agency Subscription Position Overview The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment is responsible for ensuring all compounded medication is accurately and expeditiously processed and shipped directly to patients after the medication units have been quality checked and initiated by the Fulfillment Director (Pharmacist). The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the fulfillment area and equipment. Essential Functions Complies with all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws, including but not limited to: USP 800, USP 795, and Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy requirementsPerforms duties in compliance with Personalized Skin Solutions, Inc. standard operating procedures and best practicesGenerates and/or prints labels and shipping documents subject to pharmacist supervision and checking in compliance with Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy lawLabels prescription containers Ensures medication is accurately packaged prior to shippingStocks/restocks inventoryCalculates sizes and quantities of boxes needed for the day and pulls them from the storage roomMonitors inventory status and keeps the inventory system updatedFills in logs and reports, accurately and completely Requirements Work Requirements The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment must be able to work in an industrial environment, standing and walking around as much as 90% of the dayMay need to lift as much as 40 lbsMust be able to work weekendsScheduled shift length is 10 hours per shiftAbility to work other shifts as business needs dictateInteracts politely and effectively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and othersLimited exposure to potentially hazardous substances Minimum Requirements High school diploma, or equivalentAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks from multiple sourcesAbility to grasp concepts and re-apply that information in similar situationsStrong sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health informationMust exhibit sense of urgency and initiative while maintaining attention to detail, and meeting fulfillment deadlines Preferred Requirements Pharmacy Technician Certification, a plusAbility to use a forklift; forklift certification, a plusExperience in a mail order pharmacy preferredExperience in non sterile compounding pharmacy preferred Benefits Hourly rate: $18.50/hour Disclaimers Personalized Skin Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
