Fulfillment Manager
Primary Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 10–15 hourly associates across the Parts and Shipping departments.
Oversee daily outbound shipping operations, domestic/international carrier relationships, and scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery.
Implement lean methodologies to reduce "dock-to-stock" time and eliminate bottlenecks in the packing and shipping lines.
Drive a safety-first environment, ensuring all team members are trained on equipment and adhere to established safety protocols.
Utilize ERP systems (such as NetSuite) to track throughput, monitor backlogs, and generate operational reports for senior leadership.
Handle onboarding, training, performance management, and associate development to foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
Track, own, and report on maintaining a zero-incident safety culture, order accuracy and inventory precision, and optimizing productivity throughput.
Implements and maintains department policies and standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct supervisory/management experience, or 5+ years of accelerated experience in a high-volume warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong grasp of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong written communication and verbal skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self and staff.
- Computer literacy required; including proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
- Previous experience managing and leading a team.
- Proven ability to handle project based assignments as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and mentor a team.
- Interviewing, selecting, and training employees.
- Performance evaluations.
