Fulfillment Center Operations Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure the line is properly staffed and ready for the workday, including temporary associates
• Aid the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements
• Ensure the safety and security of associates and inventory
• Coordinate with other teams and departments on processes and procedures
• Maintain production standards and collaborate with Supervisor to ensure customer compliance, safety, and all company rules, policies and guidelines are met.
• Ensure all priority orders are shipped in cartons
• Perform order fulfillment duties; review and prioritize available orders, determine stock requirements and maintain levels of required inventory
• Prioritize orders as needed by placing orders on hold, activating, and changing priorities
• Pick and pack orders, check picked orders, and prepare completed orders for shipping
• Resolve any system issues and communicate to supervisors and internal channels if escalation is necessary
• Identify any possible process improvements within operations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years Distribution/Warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability
• Proficient computer skills, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office; experience with WMS systems a plus
• Ability to manage daily and responsive communication via virtual platforms, such as email and Slack
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Outstanding work record in the areas of safety and attendance
• Ability to effectively articulate and motivate peers to achieve a common goal
• Conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work overtime, on holidays and weekends
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
