Responsibilities
- Ensure the line is properly staffed and ready for the workday, including temporary associates
- Aid the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements
- Ensure the safety and security of associates and inventory
- Coordinate with other teams and departments on processes and procedures
- Maintain production standards and collaborate with Supervisor to ensure customer compliance, safety, and all company rules, policies and guidelines are met.
- Ensure all priority orders are shipped in cartons
- Perform order fulfillment duties; review and prioritize available orders, determine stock requirements and maintain levels of required inventory
- Prioritize orders as needed by placing orders on hold, activating, and changing priorities
- Pick and pack orders, check picked orders, and prepare completed orders for shipping
- Resolve any system issues and communicate to supervisors and internal channels if escalation is necessary
- Identify any possible process improvements within operations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years Distribution/Warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability
- Proficient computer skills, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office; experience with WMS systems a plus
- Ability to manage daily and responsive communication via virtual platforms, such as email and Slack
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Outstanding work record in the areas of safety and attendance
- Ability to effectively articulate and motivate peers to achieve a common goal
- Conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work overtime, on holidays and weekends
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
