Fulfillment Center Operations ManagerOuterspace is a new type of Ops Center. We come from the brand side and have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada and Nice Laundry. We leverage the latest technology to support our high growth brands and their daily operations. Outerspace provides a number of services including, but not limited to, warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, and product photography.Outerspace is looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Manager to join our fast-growing team. This person will carry out responsibilities for ensuring operational excellence across multiple clients, delivering high service levels, and driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in day-to-day fulfillment activities. A successful candidate is a proactive, floor-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, effectively leading teams, solving problems in real time, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of all fulfillment activities.Reports to: Senior Operations ManagerKey Responsibilities Include:Oversee end-to-end fulfillment operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping across multiple client accountsEnsure all client SLAs and KPIs are consistently met, including order accuracy, on-time shipping, and inventory integrityAct as the primary point of contact for client operational needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and responsivenessLead and develop warehouse teams, including supervisors and associates, fostering a performance-driven cultureDrive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase throughputMonitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actionsManage labor planning, staffing, and scheduling to align with volume fluctuations and client demandsEnsure inventory control best practices, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and root cause analysisPartner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Client Operations Management, IT, and Finance) to ensure seamless operationsSupport onboarding of new clients, including process design, layout, and system integrationEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirementsPerform other duties as neededQualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations, preferably within a 3PL environmentProven experience managing clients or business units simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of WMS systems and warehouse operational best practicesDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills with both internal teams and external clientsBenefits:Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysInsurance (medical, dental, vision)HSA & FSA401(K) matchingand more!
