Fueling Supervisor
About the role
This role involves supervising and coordinating all Aircraft Fuelers in the Fueling Operations. Key responsibilities include issuing instructions, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, managing fuel transactions, and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Aircraft Fuelers in their assigned areas
- Ensure Fuelers perform duties professionally, safely, and efficiently
- Ensure effective operation of fueling
- Accurately account for and manage fuel transactions
- Recommend manpower requirements
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances
- Act as a mentor to other employees
- Assist subordinates in performing duties
- Conduct disciplinary procedures fairly, promptly, and consistently

- Comply with attendance and tardiness standards
- Operate fuel trucks to serve customers
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior aircraft fueling experience required
- Prior management, supervisory, or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid US driver's license with a clean record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment tests
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Comfortable lifting 70 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- FBI background check and US Customs Seal required
- Possess FAA required identification/seals or authorizations
- Report any significant deficiencies in products, materials, and documents
- Suggest improvements to working practices especially those related to safety and security
- High school diploma, GED, or six months experience as a Lead Fueler
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or six months experience as a Lead Fueler
- Prior aircraft fueling experience required
- Prior management, supervisory, or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment tests
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- Comfortable lifting 70 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
