About the role
Eaton Sales & Service LLC is seeking a Fuel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in petroleum equipment, performing technical and mechanical tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in petroleum equipment.
- Perform technical and mechanical tasks using power and hand tools.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients understand repairs and maintenance performed.
- Accurately complete service orders, reports, and documentation.
- Travel between job sites in a company-provided vehicle to perform service and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including properly maintaining the company vehicle and uniform.
- Accurately track truck inventory of repair parts and consumables.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as established by Eaton Sales & Service.
- Obtain and maintain state and manufacturer certifications, including on-the-job, classroom, and online training.
- Stand or walk frequently for extended periods.
- Lift and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Climb up and down ladders and fuel dispensers.
- Work in various weather conditions and confined spaces when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical, electrical, or service industry experience (petroleum industry preferred).
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, read schematics, and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
- Must be able to work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience with any of our suppliers (Wayne, Verifone, Veeder-Root, Gasboy, Blackmeer, etc.) is a plus.
Skills
- Strong work ethic and hands-on work experience.
- Comfortable using technology and diagnostic tools.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Customer-oriented and able to explain technical details in simple terms.

Pay and Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday – Friday with occasional overtime opportunities
- Rotating on-call schedule for emergency service calls
- In-person field service role based out of Denver, CO
