Responsibilities

  • Aid store management in preparing the store/department budget, conducting profit and loss reviews, and taking corrective actions based on financial reports.
  • Participate in the inventory process, maintaining awareness of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Train department associates on inventory management and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
  • Oversee fuel delivery and document fuel inventory.
  • Process fuel, merchandise, and lottery sales efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the Fuel center, including proper till handling.
  • Perform cashier functions such as opening/closing registers, ringing sales, completing tender transactions, and managing cash drops.
  • Comply with safety procedures, identifying and reporting unsafe conditions to management.
  • Support safety programs by adhering to safety protocols and notifying management of incidents.
  • Complete incident and security reports, clean up spills, and fill out Fuel Spill Reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency plans and procedures, reporting customer or employee accidents to management.
  • Report all safety risks, illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud, to management.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of items needing repair.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
