Responsibilities

  • Aid store management in preparing the store/department budget, conducting profit and loss reviews, and taking corrective action on financial reports.
  • Participate in the inventory process, maintaining an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Train department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
  • Oversee fuel delivery and document fuel inventory.
  • Process fuel, merchandise, and lottery sales efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the Fuel center, maintaining till according to company policy.
  • Perform cashier functions, including opening/closing registers, ringing sales, completing tender transactions, and managing cash drops.
  • Comply with safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions, and report incidents and security matters.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency plans and procedures, cleaning up spills and completing Fuel Spill Reports.
  • Report all safety risks, illegal activity, and other issues to management.
  • Stock and inventory merchandise in kiosks, clean and maintain kiosks, fuel dispensers, vending machines, trash receptacles, customer surfaces, and parking areas outside the kiosk.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting items needing repair.

Requirements

  • Minimum effective communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Any fuel experience is desired but not required.
