FT Valet/Parking Attendant - Beauport Hotel

Seasonal, full-time position at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, MA. Start date on or around September 1st.

About the role

We are seeking guest service professionals to provide valet and parking attendant services. This position requires work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct guest vehicles to appropriate parking spots in the lot and garage
• Provide prompt, professional response to all guest requests for service
• Assist and relieve door staff and bell staff as requested
• Open doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel
• Acknowledge all approaching guests with a warm greeting and assist as needed
• Maintain the lobby entrance and vestibule, including cleaning, vacuuming, and sweeping
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Valet Manager
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience, hospitality experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods (approximately 90% of shift)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout shift
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Adherence to all safety requirements

Working Environment

• Primarily at the front door area of the hotel
• Interior and exterior of hotel; exposure to sun, heat, cold, and changing weather conditions

Pay

Base wage of $15/hr plus tips. Total compensation typically ranges between $16–$20/hr based on historical averages and seasonality.
