About the Role

Seeking a full-time state certified pharmacy technician to join our inpatient team in Florence, SC. Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacists, the pharmacy technician assists with all pharmacy operations related to the preparation and distribution of medications, including IV chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV doses, and the completion of medication-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with pharmacy operations related to the preparation and distribution of medications
  • Prepare IV chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV doses
  • Complete medication-related documentation

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program (required)
  • State Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure (required)
  • Two or more years of experience in a hospital or health system (preferred)
  • Sterile IV compounding experience (preferred)
