Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and showcase detailed product knowledge
- Offer personalized and thoughtful styling recommendations
- Strategize personal business growth to boost individual productivity
- Support team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
- Collaborate with the team to uphold standards of excellence across all touchpoints
- Develop genuine connections with customers and advise on product recommendations
- Utilize tools like Polo connect to capture meaningful customer data
- Participate in store and company initiatives and community outreach
- Balance tasks while prioritizing the Ralph Lauren experience
- Provide necessary feedback to Management on category opportunities or needs
- Maintain store visual standards and use visual techniques and company guidelines
- Engage in networking and sourcing talent to support the store and team
Requirements
- Sales experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office
- Ability to lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately
- Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers
- Experience selling to customers using digital tools preferred
